WSOP 2015 - Deutscher gewinnt Event 8
Das erste Bracelet der diesjährigen World Series of Poker geht nach Deutschland! Der junge Wahlösterreicher Paul Michaelis holte sich den Sieg beim $1.500 Pot Limit Holdem Event und sicherte sich damit 189.800 Dollar. Wir haben den Turnierverlauf und besonders den Final Table für euch zusammengefasst.
Nach drei Tagen waren in dem verhältnismäßig günstigen WSOP Turnier Nummer 8 nur noch fünfzehn Spieler verblieben und schnell spielte man sich auf die letzten neun Finalisten herunter. Michaelis war zu diesem Zeitpunkt Chipleader, doch mit dem Pokerpro Tom Marchese hatte er einen bekannten und spielstarken Gegner an seiner Seite.
Nachdem Michaelis und Marchese für einige Final Table Bustouts verantwortlich waren, ging es ins Heads Up zwischen eben diesen beiden Pokerspielern. Für den 24-jährigen Deutschen wird dies eine große Erfahrung gewesen sein, die er bravourös meisterte. Nach 24 Händen ging Tom Marchese per 4-Bet vor dem Flop mit QQ Allin und verlor gegen das Set 99 von unserem Helden.
