EPT Grand Final Main Event 2015 - Mateos gewinnt
Die große und lange Pokerwoche des EPT Grand Finals in Monte Carlo ist nun vorbei, denn im Main Event wurde der Sieger gestern Abend gekürt. Der junge Spanier Adrian Mateos holte sich den am Ende verdienten Sieg und ließ unter anderem den deutschen Seriensieger Ole Schemion leer ausgehen.
Eigentlich sah es für die deutschen Pokerspieler lange Zeit sehr gut aus, doch dann musste Christopher Frank als Neunter seinen Platz räumen und auch Ole Schemion unterlief ein großer Fehler. Er callte gegen den geriverten Flush mit seinen zwei Paar und lag in dieser Entscheidung drastisch falsch. So musste er sich am Ende mit dem sechsten Platz und 233.000 Euro begnügen, was sicherlich nicht nach seinen Vorstellungen war.
Auch der Pokerstars Pro Johnny Lodden hatte kein Glück. Trotz vieler Chips verlor er Pot um Pot und schied dann aus. Nachdem auch der Libanese auf dem dritten Rang kein Glück hatte, ging es ins Heads Up zwischen alt und jung. Muyedine Fares aus Senegal spielte gegen den jungen spanischen Pro Adrian Mateos und hatte über lange Sicht keine Chance. Er begann einen großen Fehler, gab sein Chiplead ab und unterlag dann sehr schnell.
Für Mateos bedeutete dies seinen ersten European Poker Tour Titel und 1.082.000 Euro! Nun geht die EPT erst einmal in die Sommerpause, um dann bei der EPT Barcelona mit voller Kraft wieder anzugreifen!
